The men's grooming franchise brings man cave nirvana to Maryland.

Hammer & Nails Breaks into Owings Mills

Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys, a men's grooming shop that provides hand and foot grooming, haircuts and shaves in a man cave nirvana, is opening its first location in Owings Mills, Maryland. Located at 10209 Grand Central Avenue Suite 112, the new men's grooming shop will host an opening event on February 24.

In celebration of the Owings Mills location, community members are invited to attend the soft opening event on Saturday, February 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where guests will have the opportunity to try out limited Hammer & Nails services, appointments are strongly encouraged. Discounted gift cards will be available for purchase along with memberships for $64 per month, which includes two Hammer & Nails services. Once open, discounted rates will be available to the public through Groupon. The shops' grand opening is slated for February 27.

The Owings Mills Hammer & Nails location is owned and operated by BBG Salon Group, LLC., which consists of business partners and longtime friends Bart Butler, Brad Beutel, and Russ Gordon. Well-suited for success in the personal care and grooming space, the three serial entrepreneurs are regional developers and multi-unit franchisees in the area.

"A full-service grooming shop designed with guys in mind is exactly what the local community has been needing," said Butler. "Every element of the Hammer & Nails experience is designed to induce ultimate relaxation. From the atmosphere to the personalized headphones and complimentary beverages to the services themselves, we've created a comfortable space to de-stress and let the professionals take care of the rest."

The Hammer & Nails experience is unlike any other in the health and wellness space. The atmosphere is low-lit, with soft ambient lighting throughout the shop. Exterior windows are tinted dark for privacy and the interior is furnished with dark wood and steel, to create a relaxing vibe from the moment you walk in. If you have an appointment (which most guests do), you're greeted by name and escorted to a luxurious oversized Bison leather chair. You'll be handed a menu with complimentary beverages ranging from an ice cold water to McAllen's whiskey, all of which is included in the service cost. Shops have Direct TV, and every guest has a personal TV, remote and noise-canceling headphones for entertainment during his visit.

"Brad, Bart, and Russ are joining our brand at a key moment of growth. Offering hand and foot care and grooming services all under one roof is sure to revolutionize personal care in Owings Mills," said Michael Elliot, founder of Hammer & Nails. "As the first Hammer & Nails shop in the area, this trailblazing location will bring a new level of personal care to the regimens of local residents."

At Hammer & Nails, the entire experience is not only the pinnacle of relaxation, but the hand and foot care also yield significant health benefits. During a visit, technicians will examine feet and hands before the services begin. Then, hands are wrapped in hot towels with essential oils. Every part of the process is about giving great service and helping make guys feel relaxed and pampered in a welcoming environment.
